Hi:
I have the following requirement:
Using Cangjie, chinese character has to be input using Cangjie key stroke.
For example, the letter for two (Er) is input with "MM". I need to find public available database for these. Do you know where to find?
Regards
Yoong
Character set in roman for Cangjie input
Re: Character set in roman for Cangjie input
Dear Yoong,
You could go through each character’s information page at the chineselanguage.org CCDICT dictionary:
http://www.chineselanguage.org/cgi-bin/ ... in,english
It has the changjie code for each of the characters but it would be too time consuming.
Instead here is a thread at a Cantonese discussion forum that talks about the entry method and has a link to several useful sites on changjie:
http://www.cantonese.sheik.co.uk/phorum ... =806&t=804
One of the links they have is to the website of the inventor of the changjie method.
You might also try searching for other discussion threads about the method at that forum.
But it might be under chongkit, changjie, or cangjie and with or without a space between the 2 syllables.
Chongkit is the Cantonese pronunciation of the input method.
