Learning Cantonese after Mandarin?

DAjiahao! I am wandering about how long of a wait before I should learn cantonese.I speak mandarin but grammar is off.I think cantonese is also very different from standard mandarin.SHould I wait till I become better in mandarin before I learn cantonese?thanks!!!!
