Could "neft" have any special meaning in China?

Hello there, apologies in advance if this is a silly question...
Is it possible that the word/abbreviation "neft" could have some special meaning in China?
This is in relation to the domain name of my Dad's website. I find it interesting that the site receives a large number of visitors almost entirely from China, even though the site is empty.
I'm aware of a few meanings of "neft", most notably "oil" in Russian, but I don't know of a meaning that would connect it so strongly to China in particular.
Does anyone know of a connotation that I might be missing?
