I am hoping that people out there can help me with this list of translations of words from Cantonese to English. A side note to start, when I used "j" it is a J sound, not a "Y" sound. The "Y" sound is spelled using a "Y" itself. Since I don't know proper cantonese romanization, please do bare with me. I thank you so very much!
* waah yeem
* gaah yeem (not to add salt though)
* ji guk ("guk" sounds like to bake "guk")
* jung kwai
* hung gui - or maybe that was gui hung?
* mok hai/saam/(any other noun) - does this mean to pull out/off "hai" - shoes..."saam" clothes
* yuu - this word has a pronunciation similar to "jyu4" and sounds like being bruised. it was being described with a car that if you got into an accident, it would be "yuu." is there a word that has the pronunication of "yuu" that means destroyed, ruined, accident or anything along those lines... in Cantonese?
* ting jit
* wan ging
* cha gui (I'm not sure on this word, but it was described for...some food that if it was going to be backed it was going to turn hard into some "cha gui". I'm not sure if I remember the proper sounds of this word, but if you know something that sounds like it closely and means something that is hard that fits the description, do share
)* laa mien (I think it means something to frown or something? I'm not sure on the spelling since I think this is how I heard it. If you know that sounds something that has "mien" in the phrase, do share =D)
