just a note...this sentence doesn't sound naturally，its a direct translation from english...yea...so it should be
我可以作你的朋友嗎 wo3 ke3 yi3 zuo4 ni3 de4 peng2 you3 ma1 or
我可以和你作朋友嗎 wo3 ke3 yi3 he2 ni3 zuo4 peng2 you3 ma1
both means can i be ur fren...
