解曉 e /we hiao,解使 e sai=quanzhou use 解用 we ing.
be/bue is a joint word for bo+e/ue,so actually no hanzi.

so boe is not 未 but 無+解
I thought e was 已.

bo is 毛。tang1 is 當。We can invent any word like 甭 in beijing language for 不用。 勿+會=boe

Hong: what is the basis for 解 rather than 會? I assume this is based on the pronunciation xie4 = (o)e7, rather than jie3 = kai2, but according to my dictionary xie4 is only used for the surname and jie3/jie4 for other meanings.

Also, what is the character for Hakka hiau, e.g. hiau-tet?

胡買切 has wendu of hai7(h+ai) but some baidu follow 下切字 only,so 買 sound match e ,ue and we of three sects.
My hakka dict has 13 sects which mentioned single word 知 ti1 is enough for 知曉。I think 曉 is hiau in both hakka and minnan
