Apparantely there are two categories of HK immigrants: The smart ones and the stupid ones. The smart ones happens to be in the majority while the stupid ones happens to be in the minority. So who are the smart & stupid ones? The answer lies in the immigrating they have chosen.
The smart HK immigrants all live in Toronto, Vancouver, San Francisco, or New York, while all the stupid ones live in Los Angeles.
According to census figures the HK born population in these 5 cities are:
Toronto: 110,000
Vancouver: 85,000
San Francisco: 51,000
New York: 44,000
Los Angeles: 32,000
So as you can see LA is the least popular immigrating destination among the five cities; however, there are just enough dumb HKers (32,000) to make the stupid move of migrating to LA. I mean why waste that valuable green card to choose a migrating destination like LA. Isn't LA more of a Taiwanese migrating destination? I mean come on....they should have chosen San Francisco or New York. Not only are the HK immigrants who live in LA are a bunch of low IQ individuals, they are also among the surliest and rudest human beings I have ever encountered. Now in Toronto, Vancouver, SF, and NY the story is completely different. In these areas I have nothing but pleasant experiences with HK people. It's just in LA where the problem arises.
So what we have here are HK immigrants in LA who not only made poor decisions regarding their Green Card options but they also have major attitude problems. So the next time you encounter a HK immigrant living in LA, tell them that they are nothing but a bunch of mannerless and brainless human beings. The HK immigrant society in LA is truly a huge disgrace and eventually a big slap to all the HK people living elsewhere.
