Yu-ching ni hao,

I am afriad there is no *Western* name that means jade or sunny. And a name that sounds like "yu" or "ching" is even more imposible. A name that means gem or jewel or sun, maybe, but nothing for jade or sunny. I have heard of women named Jade (popular among Spanish speakers?) but it's VERY rare... My English name and Chinese name are not at all related but it works for me.

Yes, Eugene is a nice name and does sound like Yu-ching but I'm pretty sure Yu-Ching is a girl. No, Yu-Ching did not give us a gender but I'm pretty sure that any Chinese name with Jade in it is a girl's name.
