Hi if anyone could help me it would be much appreciated. How do you put this into a sentence?; "Bi4 Zhou3 Zi4 Zhen1. I know what it means but I'am not clear on how to use it in a sentence.

You migh be wrong in "Bi4 Zhou3 Zi4 Zhen1", I quess it should be "Bi4 Zhou4 Zi4 Zhen1"避重就輕 It means people don't talk the point. They just say a little bit about the truth. For example, if your parents ask you " where did you go last night?" You don't want to tell them you were with your boyfrind in his house last night. Then you maybe tell your parents you were with your boyfrind without saying being in his house. This is 避重就輕, avoiding the point but picking up easy things to say.

I guess it's 敝帚自珍，means :you treasure your own things even if they are not expesive , for example, Tony has a old car,but he BI ZHOU ZI ZHEN, wash it ofen .
