U're gonna start a revolution in Straitsland with these revolutionary old spellings, Niuc.

Niuc,
Goá cin siũⁿbeh khừ Sumátơlã kiâⁿkiâⁿ!
Hiangswe hiaⁿ,
I was just telling y'all about how I came across a blog entry written by a Han ("Tionghoa") TWnese lady about her time living in Medan. She shared / rented a room in downtown Medan. The lady who owned the house was locally born and bred, but her husband was from a backwater fishing village called Bagansiapiapi or something... I chuckled when I read this karena di sini ada satu orang Bagan, di sini Bagan sering tersebut. Lalu Niuc bilang orang Bagan benar lebih keras / lebih "orang susah" sedikit, dan banyak orang Bagan berangkat ke Medan.
The lady with the blog also mentioned that whenever a male "bumi" gave her a ride on his motorbike, it seemed to trespass against the sensibilities and sensitivities of many orang Medan.
