There is a SPECIAL METHOD for people like you.

There is this handy little machine called a "Chinese naming device", sometimes called "gun" for short after the Chinese name "gun tu you hei te xiu te an yu ha be keng mei te de si hui zai te" which means "Device for giving a Chinese name to a people".

Why not go to china town and give some money to know your son's
ba zhi(八字) and ask him use which char.

e.g. born in summer don't use the char. with 火 like 榮(prosperous)
