Interesting political speech in Hokkien. (interspersed with some Malay, ENglish and Mandarin words)

Lim Guan Eng: Mega Political Rally in Penang Island in Hokkien Language

Guan Eng is from Malacca and speak the Southern Variety of the Hokkien (similar to Pasang or Klang speech) but is fully understood by the Penang Hokkien and Teochew audiences in Penang. This shows the close similarity of the Minnan/ Ban Lam-ua of the various variety. Even though it was drizzling, the crowd kept growing, not deter by the rain, many listened to caretaker Penang Chief Minister Lim Guan Eng on current issues for one hour.

Lim Guan Eng is the current Chief Minister of Penang State.
