tough guy ,can be"强人"or"硬汉",in Cantonese slangs.
but tough female,sorry again.
Maybe there're no slangs for female who is tough or strong in Cantonese. At lease there're no short words.

Hello overlocker-thank you for responding and for your help.
If you don't know the slangs for "tough female" and "strong female", do you know how to say these terms in straightfoward Cantonese?

then I'd like to say"刚强的女人"when talking about a tough female, and "强壮的女人" a strong female.

Hello overlocker. How are ou? Thank you for your responses and your help.
Are there any shorter ways to say the terms you posted?
Someone told me "女強人" is A Cantonese slang for strong female.
Can I also use "女壯人" and "女勁人"?

You can't use "女壯人" and "女勁人". Coz there're no such words in Cantonese.
And,when we talk about "女強人",we generally means this woman is good at business.
I do think you are looking for a slang to describe those women who are vigorous physically.right?

Yes, those women and girls who are physically strong, and those girls and women who are emotionally strong.
