Translate names

Post by Billie »

I want a tattoo of my wife's name and my name, but I dont trust some tattoo parlors to have the actual translations. What is the correct translation of BILLIE, and the correct translation of SHARON? Anyone's help would be greatly appreciated!
Thanks
heather

There is no Chinese alfabets or alphabets even. Such a silly request.

There is no translation of Billie or Sharon, except a transliteration of the name, and what transliterations you get will sound awful to anyone who understands Chinese.

For instance, Billie (pronounced bi-li could be 壁犁 which literally means wall plow), and Sha-ron (which would translated as Sha-lun could be 殺論 which is literally murder-discussion).

This is why you ought not to ask for tattos. Unless you have a odd sense of humour.
