In the Cantonese Conversation I web-page you have the character 性 for name instead of 姓.
The character for ‘surname’, 姓 sing3 is 姓 with the girl radical not 性 sing3 with the heart radical. They are both pronounced sing3, but, 性 sing3 means ‘temper ; sex'.
