How do I made the Chinese characters show up on the web? I type my Chinese character in NJ Star and then I copy and paste it in Frontpage 2000. Some of the Characters show up in the Frontpage and some did not. Please advise on how to make all the Chinese characters show up. Also, if the viewer didn't have the Internet Explorer configure to view Chinese Charaters, how to I create my website in such a way that they will be able to see the Chinese Characters without turning the Chinese characters into graphics form.
Thanks in advance.

I am not familiar with your machine or software. Generally, your softeare should let you select Character Coding. Once you selected the correct Chinese coding, you will see the Chinese. Some software will automatically select the right code

You need the font first. Without the fonts, you can't make anything appear properly.

Re: making chinese character show up on the web
NJ Star transmits information to other software in the selected format eg. BIG 5, GB, HZ, UNICODE. Modern browsers support most encodings, for internet explorer go to the view menu/encoding. If you are using NJ Star wordprocessor make sure you copy as (or paste as, I can't remember which) BIG 5, or the encoding you wish to use.

Re: making chinese character show up on the web
NJStar seems to have problems with the WinXP system. I've not gotten it to work properly. It only later I found that XP has its own pre-installed Chinese, Japanese, Korean fonts. You need to activate it though, to get the "language bar." Click on your desktop, then press F1, and in the search, type in IME and you should get the instructions on how to install the fonts and inputting IMEs. Once installed, you can then select CJK language in your browser.

Re: making chinese character show up on the web
Like mentioned before ... when inputting Chinese you have to know which encoding is used to input the characters and which encoding is used to save and display the document.
The best might be to choose for UTF-8 (Unicode).

(i have heard about problems with richwin on XP but not with NJStar)
