Just a quick question for the experts I'm hoping someone can help me with...
My son is half-Thai, and my husband Thai/Chinese. My mother-in-law's family comes from a central Chinese region, and she used some of the language with their parents when she was a chile. In their honour my son's middle name is Taochai, which i'm told means 'the first', however I'd like to know if this is the Hakka dialect. My Thai in-laws don't speak English, so the dialect in Thai language is not the same. I'd also love to see the font, if possible, but any help/insight would be greatly appreciated! (Sadly, my husband knows little about his Chinese heritage and has been very unhelpful in my search! My Chinese friends say it's definitely not Cantonese or Mandarin...)
