translating a concept

Post by wistfulee »

Hello,
I am a Massage Therapist who is developing her own Massage modality. I want to have a name for this new modality & do not want to attach my name to it.
One of the strongest elements of this modality is Qi Gong breathing exercises. The therpist must draw on the Qi & help facilitate the flow throughout the massage (immediately after thanking his/her higher power for the opportunity to help the client & for the gift of massage). This is hard to explain unless you have been on my table & experienced the therapy.
Using an English-Chinese dictionary I came up with Qi Chan Jin. This is most likely wrong, at the very least in the wrong order perhaps?
Any help & suggestions would be appreciated.
