Anyone know good software to learn Mandarin?

Post by Annygirl10 »

Hey, I was hoping someone could help me out. I have a good friend from school that lives in China and am planning to go and visit her this summer and do some traveling. I wanted to try and pick up some basic Mandarin Chinese. Does anyone know of any good at home methods to learn Mandarin that may help me. I was hoping to get my hands on some software or something of that sort. I have heard of a few but was interested in the personal experiences of others. Any information anyone has have would be very helpful.

Thanks,

Ok, so i can't believe I am posting a reply to my own thread but I thought it might be helpful if there are other people out there looking for the same thing I was. I did some more research and talked to some more people and I found a really cool new software. It is totally different from anything else I came across in my search. Anyone looking for a software to learn Mandarin should really check out www.fluenz.com and download the free demo. It's really great.
