I guess you're not from Malaysia? Most of the people I know from Malaysia seem to know a smattering of Chinese (whether Cantonese, Teochew/Hokkien, etc.). Is English you're only language? I don't quite understand you're question "how to speak". It takes lots of study to speak and understand a language. Chinese grammar is different from English in that there are no verb tenses and double negatives are allowed.
It might be better if you ask specific questions like "how do you say ...?" Since you have web access I would surf a little more b/c I remember there were a couple of sites that had audio files and basic Cantonese phrases that might help you. Can't remember the site addresses offhand.
