Pronunciation / Translation Assistance Needed

Post by rsanders4 »

Nihao!

I'm trying to pick up a little mandarin here and there in preparation for my mandarin course at college this fall.

I happened across some "slang" but the accent marks are not around.

could someone provide the rising, flat or falling tones for some words?

/ \ _

Léiméngdé - Pronunciation? Supposedly this is my name in Mandarin.
shen-me (pronounced shuh-muh?) supposedly meaning "what?"
bi-zui (pronounced beetzway?) supposedly meaning "shut up"
ai-yah (pronounced aiyah?) supposedly meaning "damn" or an exclamation of suprise/regret?
chou-se (pronounced chousee?) supposedly meaning "stinking crap"
go-se (pronounced gosee?) supposedly meaning "dog crap"
ke-pah pronounced kuhpah?) supposedly horrible, horrific

I've also been told zao (tzao) supposedly means damn.

so something like, "ai-yah, whua hui shwa see potongqua"
would be (roughly) Damn! I speak crappy mandarin

Or less vulgar: "Whua hui shwa kuhpah potongqua"
(roughly) " I speak horrible mandarin"

thanks!
