I'm not Chinese, but I've been learning chinese for the past 3 years.
My chinese name is 「亞倫」, but this is just a simple english to chinese translation; I don't like this one.
Is there anyone who can suggest a real chinese name for me? Like an authenic name??
the name can indicate compassion, peace, and politness.
If it matters, I'm male.

A friend of mine is named Wei-Chien and won't tell me what her name means. I think that Wei means "precious" but can't find a translation of the "Chien" part. Also wouldn't know if together there would be a different meaning. Can you help? Thanks!

ummm there is no chien in chinese manderin but there is chen or qin (cheeen)
