Number of Chinese Characters on the CCDICT

Hi to everyone.I've been using the CCDICT for many years now and I've found it to be very helpful and very valuable as well because it contains all the characters used in the Chinese language in both the past and present eras . However, I have one question. How many characters does this CCDICT contain? I am very curious and I would like to know the estimates.Your answers will be greatly appreciated
