Re: translations of: "hing fu", "jiu fu"
I'm not sure if there is a translation in English.
Jiu fu, used in the context of guests, elders or seniors I guess would be host or take care of. Ensuring a dinner guest is served and needs taken care of. If someone were to come into town taking them around sightseeing, dinner, really old fashioned hosts would take vacation and take the guest around 24/7.

Re: translations of: "hing fu", "
jiu1 fu1 means kind of to entertain or host for someone
hing1 fu3 means what you said
the hing1 character in this case means increase or rise
fu3 means wealth
hing1 fu3 could be like a blessing you would say at new year or something to bless someone to be prosperous
i hope that helps

Re: translations of: "hing fu", "jiu fu"
the characters given in that other reply are
hang6 fuk1 which would mean blessed
the fu3 in hing1 fu3 is a slightly different character
