I've been having a bit of trouble knowing whether what I write in Chinese is correct grammatically or not.

In paticular I struggle with the word order:
1. ....还有, 你还会记得在学校学习的东西. does this make sense?
I'm trying to say: Furthermore, you are able to remember the things you learnt at school (high school)
2. When using 一点 or 一点儿 where does it come - in relation to verb and adjective. ie 挣一点儿钱 i know this makes sense but sometimes you see 便宜一点儿 "cheaper." Are there any rules?
3.For the word other, do you usually use 别的 or 其他 ?
4.平常, 我能听父母亲的看法. Usually, I can listen to my parents opinion.
5.我觉得在全世界有许多的机会. I think he world has many opportunities?
6. ....但是年轻人还要决定难的事 But young people still have to make difficult decisions.
最后: Can you say both: 中国有河流很多 or 中国有很多河流
The second is more like English. Do these have an identical meaning?
If anyone could help clarify some of these points I'd be grateful!
Thanks, Tom.
