Which foreign languages are most sought after for jobs? Is English considered a foreign language in India? I've always wanted to visit India and think it would be fun to work there for a year or two.

Well there are many foreign languages that one can opt for depending on your preferences and without knowing your interest and your career aspiration it will be difficult to mention any details but then on comparing German and French, both are in great demand for a career in India or outside.
As far as English is concerned, English is as a National Foreign Language in India.
