"standard" hokkien

I am trying to tape my prayer texts in "standard" Hokkien. Which one is it? Is it the Hokkien spoken in Amoy, China? Is Swatow a different dialect altogether?

I also have a copy of the facsimile of the first book published in the Philippines (16th century), printed in Chinese, containing Catholic prayers. I am curious if it can be read today as it was then. A Chinese teacher once told me it seems like it was in the "Swatow" dialect or language. ...

I have six (6) Catholic prayers translated into various Chinese languages (& dialects?), & taped in Hong Kong in the 1960's on reel-to-reel type magnetic tape. It is almost impossible to find a machine to replay the tapings. Is it possible to get taped translations thru you (I have the writt...
