Hello everybody,

It is a bit off-topic, but in the past I got some great support here with transcribing characters that I can’t read myself. I am translating part of a genealogy for my book about the family Lie, but unfortunately the printing quality is lousy and sometimes archaic characters are used. So after countless hours of ruining my eyes, I am a bit stuck and turning to you for a bit of help.

Below is the transcription and translation I came up with. Pictures of the actual text can be downloaded here: http://www.mediafire.com/download/594nb ... res_Li.rar

I would be very grateful if some of you could have a look at these pictures, help me with the missing characters and check / improve the translation. Every small bit helps.

Best regards & many thanks in advance,
Elmer

1. 復禮 - 葬在皇厯菴林北山…蚣形.
