When they don't know its name they always call them "咪咪", it's just like "kitty".<br><br>And in English, cat can be called kitty, or pussy. And you know what else pussy means.<br><br>Same thing happens to cat in China, 咪咪 can be cat, or something you know. But it's somewhere different from what cat can mean in English.<br><br>I think "马马虎虎" can be considered a slang. Because it derives from the word "马虎", yet the meaning has changed.
