Although there are many websites dedicated to teaching Chinese on the internet, however, I'd recommend either take Chinese classes at a local college. If such option isn't available, there are also many Chinese schools in major U.S. cities. These Chinese schools are generally for Chinese-American youths but many also have beginner classes for foreign adults. Good luck.
Statistics: Posted by Kulong — Tue Mar 04, 2003 12:32 am

Anonymous

Re: teach me mandarin

I AM VERY MUCH INTERESTED IN LEARNING MANDARIN,BUT I DON'T KNOW HOW TO START.CAN ANYBODY HELP?
Statistics: Posted by Guest — Sun Mar 02, 2003 7:32 pm

Anonymous

add-on

I am alsp seeking information on the best way to learn Mandarin. I will be traveling to China in approximately one year to adopt a child. We are hoping to be matched with a young child. I am looking for suggestions on CD's that will help me learn the language so I can relate to this child in her own language. Nothing too technical, just basic language skills. I appreciate any suggestions. Thank you.
